At Kent Cornice Creation, our story is one of craftsmanship, family, and tradition built over more than 40 years in the art of fibrous plastering and ornamental plasterwork in Kent.

A Master Craftsman’s Journey

Our journey began with my father, who started his plastering apprenticeship at a young age. After earning his City & Guilds qualification and an Advanced City & Guilds in fibrous plastering, he quickly discovered his passion for creating intricate decorative moulds and detailed plaster finishes.

At just 16 years old, he began his career in fibrous plasterwork, mastering techniques that require both precision and artistry. Over the decades, he has worked with some of the UK’s most prestigious companies and clients, earning a reputation for excellence in traditional plaster restoration and bespoke cornice design.

A Career Defined by Iconic Projects

One of his proudest achievements came in 1997, when he was commissioned to work at Harrods in London. As part of the Egyptian Escalator Hall project, he played a key role in the design and construction of the elaborate plasterwork.

He also had the incredible honour of creating the mould for the monument of the late Princess Diana, which remains on display at Harrods to this day. His name is etched into a stone plinth within the building, now a listed landmark — a lasting reminder of his craftsmanship and contribution to British plastering heritage.

Passing Down the Craft

After over 40 years in business, my father continues to share his expertise and passion through our family-run company. Together, we combine traditional plastering methods with modern techniques to deliver exceptional results for clients across Kent, London, and the South East.

Inspired by his legacy, I founded Kent Cornice Creation to preserve and carry forward this time-honoured craft. For the past decade, I’ve been learning directly from him developing my own skills in fibrous plastering, cornice installation, and heritage restoration.

Our Promise

At Kent Cornice Creation, we take pride in offering the same attention to detail, quality, and craftsmanship that has defined our family’s work for generations. Whether it’s plaster restoration, cornice reproduction, or bespoke fibrous plaster design, every project we take on carries with it the tradition and expertise passed down from father to son.

We’re proud to keep this beautiful craft alive one mould, one cornice, and one legacy at a time.
